Assumptions and limits
- Only the selected isolated pair has a simulated quantum state; displayed spectator sites are excluded from its Hamiltonian.
- Fixed positions, two levels per atom, identical constant drive and zero drive phase; no motion, decay, laser noise, loss or readout error.
- c₆ = 5,420,503 rad·μm⁶/μs is the 87Rb 70S example in the 2023 Aquila whitepaper, not a current device calibration.
- The blockade radius marks V=Ω. Detuning and finite interaction matter; it is not an exclusion boundary or an entanglement certificate.
- These are individually focused optical-tweezer arrangements, not interference-generated optical lattices. Atom sizes and light are schematic.
- Finite patches have boundary sites with fewer neighbours. Geometry alone does not establish a quantum phase or hardware performance.
